The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Women's Leadership Network (WLN) is an exclusive program that provides women with a platform to support each other on their journey to leadership. This organization offers a variety of programs, events, and volunteer opportunities to connect women to each other and to Girl Scouts. Membership is free and open to all adults. Robin Wenneker, a resident of Boone County, is a member of the board of directors of the Columbia Housing Authority, the Central Missouri Advisory Council of the Columbia Community Housing Trust, and the Commerce Bank.
She is also involved with the Missouri Agricultural Office, the Missouri Pork Producers Association, the Missouri Farmers Association, the Missouri Soy Association, the Missouri Corn Growers Association, and the Kansas City Agricultural Business Council. Robin was recently honored with a standing ovation award from the Missouri Scholars Academy for her efforts in promoting people with disabilities. The Women's Leadership Society (WLS) is a growing community of more than 3,000 women who are committed to helping those in need in St. Louis. Patty, a graduate of Three Rivers Community College and the University of Missouri with over 44 years of experience in the cable industry, educates and informs decision-makers and community leaders about policy solutions for women at local, county, and state levels.
She has served on the board of directors of the Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce, the Military Academy Review Board of the 8th Missouri Congressional District, the Missouri NFIB Leadership Council, as founding chair of the board of directors of the Pike Creek Common Sewer District in Butler County, and as vice president of the Missouri Sewer Districts Association. Marc and Wendy are farmers who grow soybeans and corn in Carroll County along the Missouri River. Wendy has been with United WE for nine years and has led the organization to invest in research, promotion, and policy solutions to eliminate economic barriers for women. This includes conducting 24 significant research studies, promoting issues that have led to 51 political actions, and supporting more than 180 women to obtain civic office. The Women Of Year (WOY) luncheon will be an inspiring event for attendees and organization leaders as they learn more about the 2024 honorees and their commitment to promoting opportunities for all women. The event will be an opportunity to recognize female leaders in Eastern Missouri who are making a positive impact on their communities through their dedication to helping others.
